MY COACHING STORY
The essence of my work is to facilitate self-growth.
My experience spans students with a variety of backgrounds and abilities. In addition to my expertise in helping student-athletes, I have enjoyed assisting with art portfolios, music auditions, and law school and graduate school applications.

For most of my life, I have been an educator in one way or another, and these experiences form the foundation of knowledge I use to help students find their way into the college stage of their life. As an unusual artist and veterinarian, I captured wild animals in Africa and welding larger-than-life steel sculptures. Several television shows featured my wildlife conservation work, including The Great African Wildlife Rescue (Vimeo) and several episodes of Animal Face-Off (Amazon), where I can be seen darting rhinos, moving lions, and capturing rogue elephants in South Africa. My award-winning artwork has been exhibited nationally and internationally, including in China, a world away from my home in Rhode Island. Along with my BFA and MFA degrees in art, I earned my bachelor’s degree from Harvard University and my Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) from Tufts University.
Now, I guide students to identify their strengths and interests, seeing each as a unique, whole person with individual needs, and work with them to choose their best path to higher education.
