Depending on a student's needs and goals, the college advising process can begin as early as freshman year, starting with course selection and advising on extracurricular activities. Sophomore year focuses on standardized testing options and meaningful summer opportunities. The process intensifies junior year, when we sketch out a college list, discuss college visits, research majors, and identify supplemental application requirements. We work through the summer to complete the bulk of the applications and essays as possible before senior year, with a goal to have nearly all applications submitted by Thanksgiving to offer a less stressful academic senior year.

The athletic recruiting process is complex and having two sons play at the D1 level, I understand the value of finding the right college and athletic program. I consider the student's academic interest and college fit paired with realistic and appropriate athletic opportunities. I take great care in selecting the right club teams, camps, and combines to help parents decide where to invest time and money. My services include highlight evaluation, creation of coach contact lists and email templates, advice on leveraging social media, and prepping for coach calls.Â
I have played an integral role in placing dozens of student-athletes in a variety of D1 athletic programs including baseball, basketball, rugby, football, water polo, reigning, fencing, and golf.

The journey doesn't end with college

Getting into the right college is just the beginning, and the experience is what you make of it. I guide students through the class selection process paying attention to graduation and major requirements pointing out ways to attract future employers and graduate schools. Leveraging my large network of professionals and my work experiences in finance and technology, I coach students in preparation for internships and post-graduate programs. My services include resume writing, network leverage techniques, position identification, and interview preparation. My past students have secured positions in marketing, finance, and technology and earned admission to selective schools for MA, MBA, and JD programs.
